This is a fine example of the Watkins 27' .
New bottom paint done in May (after these pictures were taken). No blisters!! Bottom color is now blue.
Brand new sail cover and safety line covers done in Burgundy Sunbrella.
This is a wide 27' boat. The beam is 10 feet which makes the boat feel more like a 30'+ boat. Sleeps up to 6 people.
Inboard 12hp Yanmar diesel with 20 gal fuel tank. Runs excellent. Brand new never used Origo 2 burner alcohol stove. All new water fixtures, new head and waste system hoses. Stand up shower PLUS cockpit shower. Shore power. The teak is in excellent cond and finished with teak oil. All the doors were refinished and all new brass hinges.
Comes with a 1.75 gennoa and main which are in new cond.
The working jib is in fair shape. The boat is rigged for single handed sailing with a traveler over the cabin. Lots of extras which includes anchors, radios etc. This boat has wheel steering, fresh water and waste holding tanks with new macerator pump. New Y divertor to pump out the holding tank overboard with the macerator pump OR pumped out dockside.
Two fairly new deep cycle batteries.
Boat comes with 2 Delta and Danforth anchors with rodes. These alone are worth $800+.
Depth and speed gauges in the cockpit. Lighted compass on the pedestal. Large auto bilge pump plus manual bilge pump from the cockpit.
Dingy motor mount on rear rail.
Lots of storage space. Includes marine and stereo cassette radios with JBL speakers. Screens for companionway and all hatches. Cockpit and interior cushions in great cond. New carpet inside and in the cockpit.
This would make a great liveaboard or sail her anywhere. Very seaworthy.
The Watkins 27' is hard to come by especially in this condition and price.
